Access tank-by-tank storage levels

We are the only source measuring ethanol storage tank levels at New York Harbor on a weekly basis. We cover 40 ethanol storage tanks comprising of approximately 2.6 million barrels of storage capacity. As one of the largest storage hubs on the East coast, New York Harbor acts as a major distribution and export point for PADD 1 ethanol.

Monitoring technology

To determine individual tank storage levels, we use infrared images to detect storage levels in fixed roof tanks. We do this by flying over each terminal every Thursday to correspond with EIA reporting periods and to allow for direct comparison of inventory levels.
